Technical Support: Windows 7 supports multitouch features and one can use upto two fingers at once to zoom in and out of web rotate images, pages and photos up to the extent of enabling paint lines in programs like Microsoft’s Paint. It is imperative to note that not all programs support touch control, and gestures cannot be used in Photoshop Elements 8. A single finger is deployed to control the mouse cursor, to point and click.
During a test , it was found that the touch screen on Windows 7 was accurate, although it was important to get back to the stylus to rein in small icons such as the options to minimize and maximize windows. Microsoft Virtual Earth, which are finger-friendly, however, were a lot easier to control, with instant responses to gestures. Owing to infrared sensors, the fingers should be well away from the screen, or the sensors will be in a confused state. It becomes a lot easier to use the index finger on each hand, instead of a finger and thumb on one hand.
Iiyama makes the T2250MTS’s stand as robust as possible to cut down wobbling when the screen is being scrutinized. But this means height cannot be adjusted and it is also a little rare to find just VGA and DVI-D inputs. A Minijack audio input is also around, however, weak speakers make it a better choice to leave it alone.
